Becca May Collins is an artist whose practice explores the development of sentimentality towards a site, or a ‘sense of place’. Working with a particular location for a sustained amount of time, her research into the intangible through conversing, exploring and just plain ‘being’ often materialise in the form of narrative imagery; drawing, painting, and writing and publication. Her work looks to highlight the importance of 'place' in an increasingly globalised world
Currently based in London, Becca is completing her Masters at the Royal College of Art, looking to better decipher the language of drawing gained on the Drawing Year as a recent graduate of The Royal Drawing School. Her work is held in public and private collections, including the Royal Collection.
