I am an artist whose practice explores the development of sentimentality towards a site, or a ‘sense of place’. Working with specific sites over a prolonged amount of time, I research the intangible through walking, talking and just plain ‘being’. I use the process of drawing on-location to search and question before working in the studio to re-construct scenes from memory. This method of image-making strengthens my personal relationship with a site, allowing the work to highlight the importance of ‘place’ in an increasingly globalised world.

Currently based in London, I am completing my Masters at the Royal College of Art, looking to better decipher the language of drawing gained on the Drawing Year as a recent graduate of The Royal Drawing School. My work is held in public and private collections, including the Royal Collection.
